Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

At Bonnet Bay Public School, we are proud to be a school of excellence where every student is known, valued and cared for. Guided by our motto,  “Learn to Grow, Grow to Learn,”  we are committed to providing high-quality education and enriching opportunities that empower all students to flourish.

Nestled on the ancestral lands of the Dharawal-speaking people in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, our school combines a nurturing, community-focused environment with the highest standards of teaching and learning. Just 40 minutes south of Sydney CBD, our picturesque location along the Woronora River reflects the strong, vibrant, and connected community we serve.

At Bonnet Bay Public School Our dedicated staff are passionate about inspiring success through innovative teaching and a strong focus on student wellbeing. We provide a broad range of academic, cultural, and sporting programs, ensuring every learner has the chance to discover their strengths and achieve their personal best.

From Choir, Dance, African Drumming and PSSA sports, to Chess Club, Debating, Garden Club, and our High Potential, Gifted Education Playground Pals Leadership team, students enjoy diverse enrichment opportunities that build confidence, creativity, and leadership skills.

We are fortunate to have a highly supportive and active Parents and Citizens Association (P&C), working alongside our school to strengthen connections and enhance learning opportunities for all. Together, we create a collaborative partnership that benefits every child.

At Bonnet Bay Public School, the education and wellbeing of your child is our highest priority. We invite you to visit our wonderful school and see firsthand the vibrant learning community where children are encouraged to thrive, achieve, and prepare for a bright future.
