Our whole school Japanese Language program commenced in 2013 and has been embraced by staff and students. The Australian Curriculum and Reporting Association research has shown that learning another language has been shown to extend students' intellectual and analytical capabilities and strengthen their cognitive and general capabilities, such as creative and critical thinking. It also suggests that studying languages can improve student knowledge of concepts across the curriculum and enhances their employment and career prospects.
Our Japanese teacher continues to engage and immerse our students in this fantastic Japanese culture and language program. Students also have an opportunity for to continue and extend their Japanese studies with our local high school language programs.
